Table of Contents

This portfolio is organized around national teaching standards developed by the Interstate New Teacher Assessment and Support Consortium (INTASC) in conjunction with representatives from states and multiple school districts. Additionally, it has been aligned to include standards from the Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System (TTESS).

These standards address criteria by which new and veteran teachers are assessed. The standards are organized according to the following teaching characteristics:
