Standard Interpretation:
The teacher is able to use a variety of instructional strategies to meet the learning needs of all students. In turn, the teacher will differentiate instruction in order to help all learners meet their learning objectives.
The artifact that I have included here is an introductory lesson to the concept of symmetry. I designed this short lesson using the white board app on the site Educreations. This artifact demonstrates my knowledge of instructional strategies because it shows my proficiency in using technology to differentiate instruction for students.
The artifact I have attached is a flipped classroom teaching video that I created using the online software platform Loom.It is a mathematics lesson designed for First Grade. This artifact demonstrates my understanding of instructional strategies that use clear communication because it shows how I organize and deliver information to model, sequence and present information clearly to students. It also demonstrates my ability to incorporate the use of technology to reach the diverse learning needs of students.
