国際シンポジウムを開催致しました
The Center for Sustainable Developmental Studies, Toyo University held an international symposium; Development and Environment in Africa-Human Resource Development on Technology and Society-.
The Center that specializes in development studies and receives official support from the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology, has been hosting an international symposium annually since 2002 to discuss balanced and sustainable development.
The 2016 symposium, which was held on the 11th of November, 2016, emphasizes the theme of “Development and Environment in Africa -Human Resource Development on Technology and Society-”. In the international symposium, experts from Africa and Japan discussed on the development and environment in Africa from the views of human resource development, technology, and society to understand the current situation, and identify issues for our future research on international development and contribution in the age of globalization.

東洋大学国際共生社会研究センターでは国際シンポジウム「アフリカにおける開発と環境－技術と社会の連携を目指した人材育成－」を2016年11月11日に開催いたしました。
当シンポジウムには延べ約860名の方にご参加いただきました。シンポジウムでは東洋大学とアフリカケニアのジョモ・ケニヤッタ農工大学との学術協定調印式も実施いたしました。今後アフリカの発展のため研究してく所存です。ご参加、ご協力いただきました方々に御礼申し上げます。今後とも当センターを宜しくお願い申し上げます。
