A1.Not all of the courses listed in the Academic Catalog are offered every year. The courses listed in the timetable of classes are the courses that will be offered this year. The timetable of classes will be announced through “Toyo University Faculty of Global and Regional Studies website”. And additional and change of the class will be also announced through website, if any.
A2. When the syllabus is searched by word, the results show courses from the syllabi of all faculties. "Viewing the syllabus” does not mean ‘being able to register for a course’. Although the course title is identical, the course may be available only for designated faculties. Please check the timetable to see which courses you can enroll in.
A3.When a subject is offered in multiple courses, it will be differentiated by the course name.
Please check the course name by the Arabic numerals or course abbreviation displayed after the subject name on ToyoNet-G etc.
The content of each course may differ depending on the course, so please check the syllabus for details.
Please note that even if the course names are different, if the subject name is the same, you cannot take or earn the course multiple times.
※Repeating courses that you have already passed is permitted only for some courses in the Department of Regional Development Studies. Please check the Academic Catalog for details.

A5.Priority should be given to the required classes. Take the non-required classes you wish to take during or after the
following academic year.
A6.When you are absent due to unavoidable circumstances (illness, injury, traffic delays, death in the family), inform the instructor directly next time you attend class. Please check here for information on how absences will be handled. If you can be contacted, please let the faculty member know in advance. A7.Only basic education courses offered by the Center for International Education can be taken. For details, please click here.

A8.Information regarding the minor will be annonced on ToyoNet-ACE. Please read the information carefully and apply by using the indicated procedure.
A9.Courses that are assigned to a class by the class placement cannot be changed. Students are required to take the designated courses they wish to take from the ones they are able to take, and those they are unable to take should be taken in the following semester or later.
A10. You may enroll in courses indicated in the curriculum table, you can take these classes as graduation requirement. In the same way as standard courses, register on ToyoNet-G. Credits will not be considered as Liberal Arts, Study Skills, Academic Subject, Project Study credits, but will be counted towards graduation requirements. Class timetable of other faculties can be viewed on the relevant faculty’s class timetable or ToyoNet-G.
A11.If you wish to participate in activities involving the practice of work and regional contribution activities from which Project Study course credits can be earned, check the GUIDEBOOK FOR SERVICE LEARNING COURSES and the list of host organizations that the Department recommends, posted on ToyoNet-ACE (course title: Internship ・ Volunteer/Service-Learning). After that, follow the necessary procedure and apply. If you wish to participate in other activities, check announcements issued by the Center for Global Education and Exchange or the Career Development and Placement Section.
Please note that you cannot register for, and gain credits from, the same activity for multiple courses.
A12.Courses you have registered will be reflected in ToyoNet-ACE/"CLASS" screen of Toyo University Official App the day after you register for them on ToyoNet-G. If a class starts before the course is reflected in ToyoNet-ACE, you can temporarily check the course(s) by registering for the class using the self-registration function on ToyoNet-ACE.
A13. You can check the information from the “Class Cancellation Inquiry” function of ToyoNet-G. Before course registration is confirmed, all information on cancelled classes is displayed. After registration is confirmed (after the lottery/additional registration period), only information on cancelled classes of the courses you have taken will be displayed.
A14. Leave of Absence / Withdrawal procedures are required. Please refer to the page of “Changes of Enrollment Status” for the procedures and deadlines. If you have not registered for courses without completing the procedures, the university may contact you as a student who has not registered for courses.
