Course registration is the process of registering for courses you wish to take. In the case of new students, their intention to study at the University is confirmed through course registration. 1st and 2nd year students can register for up to 22 credits per semester, and 3rd and 4th year students can register for up to 24 credits per semester. For details on the maximum number of credits, check the Academic Catalog (for AY 2025 enrollees/for AY 2022, 2023 and 2024 enrollees/for students enrolled in AY 2021 or earlier).
Points to note on course registration
Be sure to complete course registration within the specified period. If you fail to register for courses, you will not be able to earn credits even if you attend the classes.
A lottery will be held using a system to select students after the end of the course registration period if the number of students applying for the course exceeds the capacity of the classroom or if the course has a maximum limit on the number of registered students due to the nature of the course. Therefore, you may not be permitted to take all the courses you have registered for.
After completing your course registration, print out the "Course Registration Confirmation Sheet" and check that there are no errors in the course and credit summary sheet.
Courses you have registered will be reflected in ToyoNet-ACE the day after you register for them on ToyoNet-G. If a class starts before the course is reflected in ToyoNet-ACE, you can temporarily check the course(s) by registering for the class using the self-registration function on ToyoNet-ACE. (The manual for self-registration function is from here)
If you earn more than 60 credits from courses that offer remote-learning classes and ondemand classes, the surplus will not be included in the credits required for graduation. Please complete course registration in a planned manner so that you do not have any shortage of credits required for graduation.
If you wish to take classes offered at campuses other than the Hakusan Campus (including the General Sports Center), please make your schedule taking into consideration the travel time between campuses.
<Transfer time between Hakusan Campus and other campuses>
The General Sports Center (Shimizu-cho): 30 min.
Kawagoe Campus: 90 minutes
Akabanedai Campus (INIAD/WELLB/HELSPO): 50 minutes
Asaka Campus: 60 minutes
