Benefits and Policies
Payday
TIA pays employees once a month.
Salaried employees will be paid via direct deposit on the 15th of every month.
Stipend employees will be paid on a Thursday before or after the 15th of the month.
The church’s aim is to pay each employee as close to the 15th as possible. Checks are only cut and distributed on the 15th so the finance department makes a decision about cutting them on a` Thursday and waiting until the 15th comes or waiting until the Thursday that comes right after the 15th.
Holidays and church closings may affect pay day but we try our best to make it to the benefit and convenience of the employee
Checks can be picked up in the church’s administration area or they can be mailed to a specified location.
Employee Tuition Reimbursement Policy
The Impact Academy Employee Tuition Assistance Program provides tax-free educational assistance to cover eligible classes taken at a regionally accredited higher educational institution. The program provides reimbursement of tuition for a maximum of two classes per semester or quarter up to $2,500 per calendar year for full-time employees with at least two years of continuous full-time service.
Employee Paid Time Off (PTO) Policy
The school’s benefit plan is designed to provide compensated time away from work, make available insurance coverage through group rates for employees’ eligible dependents, offer participation in retirement savings program, and provide certain other assistance as occurrences arise. Although the benefits described in this policy are currently available, the benefits may be adjusted, changed, or modified at any time without prior notice.
Healthcare
The school utilizes Blue Cross Blue Shield for healthcare. The school covers 90% of cost for employees and 50% of cost for dependents. Policies renew with BCBS each year and individuals may have varying needs so official packages are shared during employee orientation.
