Pick Up and Drop Off

The Impact Academy is located in The Impact Center at Word Tabernacle Church. The school functions through one portion of the building and with a different staff and phone system than the rest of the organization. Please read through the following information so engagement and visits can flow as easily as possible. You may only enter through the official entrances for The Impact Academy which are marked in red.

Driving and Parking

  • Please respect the traffic pattern of the parking lot

  • People visiting the campus can park outside of the black gate on the side of the building or in the back near the Next Generation Entrance

Pick Up and Drop Off

    • Think of this the same way public schools function. Drop off is between 7:30 and 8:30. Pick Up is between 4:30 and 5:30. You can drop your child off and pick them up at any time but the car line will only function during these timeframes. The gates will be down outside of these timeframes as a safety precaution and organizational function.

    • If you are picking up and dropping off outside of these time frames, please drive around to the back of the building to the "Next Generation Entrance". There is a doorbell there to use AND you can call your child's classroom to let the teacher know you are there. You can call in advance to better prepare the teacher to connect with you.

    • If you are outside the building and need support getting in contact with your child, please call their classrooms

    • Summer programming has started for Word Tabernacle Church so there is an increase in traffic in the mornings and afternoons. Please enter through the gate that faces the main parking lot and exit through what has historically been our entry gate.

    • We want to minimize the time everyone is in the car line while ensuring safety as students are walked into the building. If you must get out to assist your child from their car seats and to help collect their things, please let them walk to the building with the designated staff.

    • We will also have support staff who will transition your child between the car and the building to ease congestion. You will not need to get out. Simply pull up and unlock your door.

    • Please Save/bookmark the "check in" website on your phone so you will not have to scan the QR Code at the door to check in and out.

    • The gates will be open between 7:30am-8:30am and 4:30pm-5:30pm. The gates will be down if you come to the school to drop off or pick up outside of these time frames. You can come to the rear of the building to check your child in and/or out.

Who gets contacted?

    • We send email information and automatically invite people listed under "Guardian 1" and "Guardian 2" on the registration form.
