We began this quarter by taking an in depth look at the causes and effects of the French Revolution and then later looked at the Latin American Revolution and the Haitian Revolution. Next, students examined how each of these events influenced the identity and flags of countries. From here, students reflected on how their own struggles and values have shaped their identity and created flags to represent themselves.
