Students began the quarter by studying the Middle Ages and then learned how Europe progressed through the Crusades, Black Death, Renaissance, Reformation, Scientific Revolution, and Enlightenment. While learning about these time periods, students saw how each period chipped away at the rigid social, political, and religous hold the Middle Ages had on Europe.
