Students started the year by learning about different lenses that history is told through. We then took a closer look at Indigenous, European Colonial, and Black perspectives of major events in US history to see how the same event can be viewed differently depending on who is telling the story. For their project, students created a collage to show the multiple perspectives of an event we learned about.
