This has been another busy week with scholars working feverishly on different projects and assessments. On Saturday, the high school mock trial team will be participating in their competition. We look forward to our scholars demonstrating their skills as they take on another FWISD school. Another chance for our scholars to shine comes with the Oratorical
Competition between scholars from YMLA, YWLA, and Dunbar. There's still time for high school scholars to sign up. See the flyer below for more information.
On Wednesday, January 31st, we will be pulling grades from Focus and identifying scholars who have a zero for any assignment in any class. Please help your scholar to proactively look at Focus, identify any zeros he may have, and work with his teacher(s) to correct them prior to Wednesday. Any scholar who does not get cleared by his teacher for any zero will be required to Thursday Night Lights (TNL) on Thursday, February 8th.
MAP Testing
MAP Testing
We continued with MAP testing this week, but all scholars have not yet finished. Once all tests have been administered, Ms. White will communicate scores and the instructional implications with families via email.
