From the Office
We completed the first week of STAAR testing! Congratulations to all our scholars who tested this week. It is exciting to see how focused and ready scholars are when they are approaching their testing rooms. Next week, we are administering 8th Grade Social Studies, US History, 8th Grade Science, and Biology. If your scholar is enrolled in any of those courses, he should be prepared to test.
One of the biggest challenges with testing is scholars not charging their devices the night before. Please help your scholar remember to plug in his MacBook the night before so he comes with a full charge. It can be frustrating for a scholar's test to stop abruptly because the battery died and getting refocused is challenging. We greatly appreciate your support!
