From the Office
We hope all of you had a restful Thanksgiving full of time with friends and family. The time between Thanksgiving and Winter Break is extremely busy so we encourage all of you to check your email and social media daily for the most up to date information and reminders. Also, with Homecoming in two weeks there will be lots of opportunities for families to get involved with various events. Make sure you mark your calendars to come out and support the YMLA Basketball team for the Homecoming game on December 15th!
College Fair
On Wednesday, November 29th, YMLA hosted a College Fair on campus for high school scholars in 10th through 12 grade. Scholars learned about a variety of colleges and opportunities to continue their education after YMLA.
Thank you Ms. Jones for your leadership in organizing this fabulous event for our scholars!
Sophomore Families
We are working hard to prepare for an exciting Homecoming week! The Class of 2026 will be decorating the second floor hallway in the high school building and hosting the tailgate on December 15th before the game. Below are just a few ways you can get involved to support your scholar and the whole YMLA Community.
Donate items for the tailgate
Example items - sodas, water, chips, candy, sweet treats, Gatorade
Lend us outdoor games and other items for the tailgate (we will return these items after the tailgate)

Congratulations Scholar Spellers!
On Friday, December 1st middle school scholars competed in the annual Spelling Bee and three sixth graders came out on top! Congratulation to our winner!
