Start at your Dashboard

1. Select the down arrow beside CREATE on the top left side of your window.

2. Select “Recording”

3. Select the method you will record from:

Webcam will be only your webcam video and microphone audio, Screen will be a screencast and microphone audio, Screen & webcam will include both.

4. Allow Access to webcam and microphone

5. Select the appropriate video and audio source

Pull down the menu to see all audio options by clicking the down arrow in the white boxes

6. If Screen recording, choose what you will share: Chrome tab, Window or Entire Screen

7. You will then see a count down begin which indicates the start of your recording.

8. Select "Stop Sharing" located near the bottom of the screen to stop your recording.

9. A Preview will appear on your WeVideo window, select “SAVE”

10. Your video will be loaded into the WeVideo editor

11. Here you may edit, add media, add text to your screen recording

12. When you’re happy with your video, select “Export” located in the top right corner

13. Set a title for your video, select HD resolution, checkmark Google Drive, then press Export

14. Your video will then be processed.

15. Once Processed, the video will appear in a folder named “WeVideo” within your Google Drive and also in “Exports” on WeVideo.

16. You can download the video, share and auto generate subtitles from the Export screen.
