WeVideo is an online video editor that helps students and teachers make fun media presentations like podcasts, videos, green screen videos, and voice overs. Students can get creative and show what they’ve learned in different ways, which helps them feel more confident and connected in the classroom. It is an excellent program to increase student engagement.
Back-up Instructions: How to Export Your WeVideo Files
For a New Project:
1) Click Export: Once you finish editing, click the blue Export button in the top right corner.
2) Select Destination: In the export settings menu, look for the "Export destinations" section.
3) Link Your Accounts: Click the icons for Google Drive, YouTube, or OneDrive. If it’s your first time, you will be prompted to sign in and authorize the connection.
4) Finish & Export: Ensure the blue checkmark is visible on the icons you want, then click Export at the bottom. WeVideo will automatically send a copy to those platforms once the render is finished.
For Videos You Already Exported:
If you’ve already finished a video and want to back it up now:
1) Go to Exports: Click the Exports tab on the left-hand sidebar of your dashboard.
2) Open the Video: Click on the thumbnail of the video you want to back up.
3) Click Share: On the video preview page, click the Share button.
4) Choose Destination: Under the "Save or publish" section, click the icon for Google Drive, YouTube, or OneDrive.
Confirm: Follow the prompts to send the file directly to that service.

(Chromebooks or laptops) at school or home.

record their voice while showing their screen to explain what they’re doing
share videos easily with their classmates and teachers
