Peer Tutoring

Peer Tutoring is a Martingrove based program that pairs Grade 9 and 10 students who need tutoring with Grade 11 and 12 MCI Tutors. Please email Anastasia.Reid@tdsb.on.ca

The program meets weekly on Mondays in the Library afterschool and Thursdays at lunch in Room 173. Students can enroll for one semester or the full year. 

It offers junior students an opportunity to work with a kind and engaging senior student who has taken the courses before and can be an encouraging coach and resource. 

If offers senior students a chance to build Martingrove community and build Leadership skills while gaining volunteer hours. 

All tutors are trained and supervised by MCI Staff. 

The Staff Advisors for this program are Ms. Ioia, Ms. Reid and Mr. O'Reilly.
