Student Success

Here at Martingrove, we work as a team to support students in their learning. 

Our Student Success Team is comprised of the administration, student success teachers, guidance counsellors, special education teachers and subject teachers of specific students.  

We meet bi-weekly to share ideas on how to support students and to follow up with students from all grades. 

The following initiatives are in place to assist students: 

• Credit Recovery Classes 

• Credit Rescue 

• Transitions Initiatives –  The Student Success Team works with other departments to offer Grade 9 Orientation, Take Your Kids to Work Day, and opportunities to transition out of high school.

•  Dual Credit Programs-Students are able to earn a college credit and a high school credit at the same time!

• Peer Tutoring
