Practice making Inferences by using text clues to make educated guesses.

What is science fiction?
Which science fiction movies do you know?
Just as we infer meaning from clues in a text instead of only what’s said directly, God sees beyond appearances to understand what’s really inside a person’s heart. Making inferences teaches us to look deeper, just as God does.
How is making an inference like seeing “beneath the surface” of what people say or do?
How do the author's clues and your own knowledge help you picture a place (like Mars) that you've never actually seen?
