Accessing Prior Knowledge /(Review)
Take out your introductions and highlight the hook, underline the background or context and circle the claim.
Share it with a student and discuss your introductions together, fix them briefly.

If you did not write your introduction, take this time to do so and follow the instructions above.
Copy your introductions in your graphic organizer.
Write your body paragraphs with each one is a reason to support: REASON 1, 2 AND 3.
Remember that each body paragraph is a reason why you support your claim, you need to look for evidence and include the sources. At the same time, make sure you are keeping track of your sources.
At the end of the class all of you should have written all in your organizers and give it back to your teacher.
If you did not work in class, your process grade will be affected.
If you are done with your essay, revise and edit and move on to application 2.
