Role overview
The Senior Manager (Finance and Accounts) will be a key member of the leadership team responsible for driving financial performance of the Company, planning, and governance. The role requires strong business acumen, thorough understanding of funds management, dealing with banks and other sources of funds, hands-on experience in managing all aspects of finance, accounting, costing and management accounting operations in a growth-oriented manufacturing or industrial environment. The role is expected to secure governance, provide clear insights for decision making, give advice on financial and allied matters, ensure accurate reporting and compliance with all relevant laws, rules, regulations and guidelines. Key Responsibilities
Support to Strategic Financial Leadership
Partner with the CEO and senior leadership in securing profitable, sustainable business growth
Responsible for budgeting, forecasting, management reporting
Financial Planning & Analysis
Provide actionable insights to support growth, margin improvement, and cost optimization.
Present timely and accurate financial reports to management and the Board..
Accounting &Controls
Responsible for entire financial and cost accounting operations, accounts closing, audits, and internal controls.
Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and financial reporting regulations.
Install a robust cost and management accounting system that will provide all cost data / cost analyses and inputs for key decisions relating to pricing, profitability maximisation and allied aspects
Funding & Capital Management
Manage banking relationships and optimise cost of funds.
Explore and negotiate debt, working capital financing, and funding options for expansion.
Drive initiatives for cost of capital optimization and efficient cash flow management.
Compliance & Governance
Ensure compliance with Companies Act, SEBI, GST, and other applicable regulations.
Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, legal advisors, and regulatory bodies.
Ensure good corporate governance and risk management practices.
ERP / Digital Transformation
Lead finance automation and digitization initiatives.
Work closely with IT teams to implement ERP and financial reporting tools.
Skills & Experience
CA (Inter) / CMA (Inter) or B Com + MBA (Finance).
Around 15-25 years of progressive experience in finance roles, with at least 5 years in a managerial capacity.
Prior experience in manufacturing / specialty chemicals / process industry preferred (Must have recent experience in the manufacturing industry)
Good knowledge and sharp business acumen to deal with accounting, costing, taxation,
