Term One

Our Kai

Create healthy and delicious kai using local produce. What food is unique to us as people of the Far North? Learn traditional Maori gathering processes and cooking techniques. At the same time learning food technology skills and cookery techniques.

Term Two

Beautiful Baking

Learn the basic skills to make delicious baking every time. We will then upskill and learn decorating techniques, design, packaging, logos, nutrition labels etc for our baked products. Finish the term with your own project creating a baked product with packaging, brand design and nutrition labels.
