For our finale, we are will be designing and presenting an all inclusive Skatepark to Sam from the Skateboard Academy Wales.
Task : Learner's will research and calculate an average price of a skateboard. Learners will then need to find out how much it would cost for one per pupil.

I can demonstrate an understanding of income and expenditure, and I can apply calculations to explore profit and loss.

Task : Learner's will use the 3D CAD modelling software TinkerCAD to design their own ramps in 3D.

Task : Learner's will use a TechDeck skateboard and will let it run down a ramp and across different materials recording how far it travels. Learner's will summarise at the end which surface was best listing the properties which make it so.

Task : Learner's will need to use an iPad or laptop to research skateparks which are local to the school. They will then need to record their location on a map and record the distance away from the Tai Education Centre using AA Route Planner.
