Research Background

Human beings and the earth are a community of life. However, in order to meet the needs of life, uncontrolled consumption, excessive development and economic development, human beings tend to ignore the impact of pollution in these processes, making the pollution problems more and more serious.Pollution problems have seriously affected the ecological environment and lead to global crisis, such as global warming, acid rain, ozone layer destruction, climate anomalies and other phenomena. In addition, due to the rapid population growth,in order to meet the demand, human beings must continue to expand the land and engage in raw material mining and mass production, which quickly consumes most of the resources on the earth. This large-scale economic development also has a great impact on the ecological environment and human health.

Therefore, people must seriously look upon the health index of the earth’s ecology, and the red light has begun to light up. Once the earth’s ecology is overloaded, it may never recover, which means that our future life will face serious challenges. As a result, it is our responsibility and obligation as a member of the earth to rethink how to abandon the development methods of large-scale manufacturing, mass-consumption, and mass-abandonment, in order to maintain a balanced relationship between human life and the earth’s ecology. With the trend of increasing attention paid to the ecological environment and sustainable development in recent years,it is important to reflect on how to make most products no longer become wastes after use but become a new product with recoverable and renewable resources, so that waste materials can be continuously recycled and reused to create more value. Therefore, the most important mission for human beings at present is to improve environmental pollution and achieve sustainable development of the earth.

In recent years, various countries around the world have begun to pay attention to the issue of “circular economy,” using new technologies to remanufacture wastes, greatly reducing the consumption of energy and resources and the generation of wastes, in order to solve the current environmental problems. Hopefully, the development model of “circular economy” may achieve the coexistence relationship between human economic development and ecological environment. Our project theme is to think about the current crises of the earth’s resources, human health and the ecological environment based on sustainable development. Hopefully, our project may awaken everyone to cherish the earth’s resources, care for the environment and implement the concept of sustainable environment to jointly create a healthy and comfortable living environment for the cities where we live.
