A treatment blueprint is an outline of the patients treatment in specifics starting with:
What is the treatment plan for this patient?
Assessing the records, is the patient missing any teeth? Does the patient have a gummy smile? Are we placing TADS? What was talked about in the exam with the doctor?
Choosing the bracket torque and bracket type based on what was discussed and what we will be treating
Step by step layout of each adjustment/appointment needed for patient from beginning to end of treatment
Why do we need to know this?
The Sukoff Smile is a unique brand and signature smile that we are known for and we want to keep up that reputation. In order to do that, clinicians need to make sure they understand protocols and procedures so everything is done the "Sukoff Way" to get the Sukoff Smile outcome. We have come up with different Treatment Blueprints for all types of cases we treat here at Sukoff Orthodontics. Later in the training library you will see individual categories that go through the many different types of treatment and the patients specific blueprints. Now granted, each appointment may not go EXACTLY as we treatment plan this out, but it will be almost identical to what is said on the blueprint. That way we do not get lost throughout treatment and we can get the best outcome, stay on time with treatment, and give the patient the best experience possible. It can be hard for a patient seeing a different clinical assistant every visit. It can also be hard for a clinician to come in mid treatment and see a patient who has a more complex case and feel like you are lost and not sure what to do for that patient. This treatment blueprint is going to avoid all of those things and help everyone be successful from the patient, to the clinician and then to the Doctor.
