Prepping teeth

Normal Enamel: We use ultra-etch to prepare a tooth for bonding. Ultra etch is easy to use and ensures precise placement without migrating, even on vertical surfaces. It has a unique self-limiting chemistry that reduces the risk of overetching, creating the optimal surface to receive resin. In the video below, this will show the proper technique for etching. You do not need to cover the entire tooth, just in the area the bracket will be bonded. Proceed with caution around the gingiva. This etchant will need to stay on for atleast 20 seconds to ensure it penetrates the tubials. Be sure to rinse for 3-5 seconds and then fully dry the tooth. Following that step you will finish with a light layer of ortho solo and a dry entirely.
