Head Chef

• Knows the recipe & puts the recipe together
• Preheats oven
• Identifies jobs of each chef
• Is responsible to check on other chef’s jobs
• Helps where needed
• Completes evaluation
• Puts used dish towels in the washer-- Last to leave kitchen

Sous Chef

• Knows the recipe
• Gets ingredients
• Is responsible for measuring ingredients
• Prepares the recipe
• Fills in for head chef if absent
• Sweeps the floor

Organization Chef

• Is responsible for getting all tools necessary to prepare recipe
• Sets the table
• Cleans counter-top
• Labels food
• Helps with recipe

Prep Chef

• Cuts vegetables
• Helps put recipe together
• Helps clear table
• Cleans table
• Dries dishes

Sanitation Chef

• Gets 2 dish towels
• Fills sink with soapy water
• Helps put recipe together
• Helps clear table
• Washes dishes

Nutritionist

• Analyzes the nutritional content of the recipe
• Completes MY PLATE with foods in accurate food groups
• Analyzes the cost of the food
• Determines gratuity for restaurant bill

Food Editor

• Samples food
• Writes about the sampled food utilizing the 5 senses

Barista

• Takes beverage order
• Creates hot or cold beverage
• Serves beverage
