These sketches were pre-instructional and the idea was to create sketches using no photos and only drawing from imagination or looking at an object.

I used a 2H graphite pencil on drawing paper and sketched my self-portrait, still life, and finally the corner of my bedroom.

For my still life, I started by drawing the front view but later decided it was too simple and decided to do the top and back view as well. For my self-portrait, we had to look in a mirror and draw our faces that way. This made me kind of uncomfortable but it wasn't bad once I got the hang of it.  For my perspective drawing, I struggled a little bit and found it hard to make it look realistic, and made my brain hurt trying to figure it out. Eventually, I did it and I hope it's clear that the ceiling is slanted because my room is on the top floor.
