All make of wire.

The main idea for this sculpture was that we were told to think of an object that we could physically bring into class to sculpt because we had to look at all sides of the object and try to make it the right shape and size as close to the original object as possible.

The first thing I had to figure out was what object I wanted to bring in and make. It had to be something small and simple and it had to be able to fit in my backpack so I would be able to carry it around school all day. It was between a cow skull and a flying pig but as you know my whole life revolves around cows so I had to go with the cow skull. When I first started making it I thought it would be easy but as I got into it, it started getting a little hard because the wire was not that easy to handle, bend and shape into the shape I wanted it to become. But as it went on I soon found out that it takes up a lot of time. We had to use a method called the hook and knot where we would have to connect to different pieces of wire together and the way we would do that is to make little hooks on each end and then squeeze them together until there's a knot and then keep squeezing until there was no space left and it stood up straight on its own in its own place. When you start to handle a few pieces of wire for a long period of time, it starts to hurt your hands and they get all greasy because of the wire being coated with it and it also hurts when you pock yourself with the sharp ends.
