Linoleum Prints

Solid

Extended

Multicolored

Unique Surface Material

All the prints

The main idea that I got for this project was because we had to draw a design that had to both equal black and white space so I thought of a yin yang sign but I had to put my own spin on it because it couldn't be a normal yin yang sign, it had to be unique.

Made of a print that I drew, ink.

What I did was I first had to draw a design that was both equal for black and white space when had to carve it out in linoleum so later I can print it on paper. I had to first make sure that it was all carved out the way I wanted it to be and so when I printed the picture there was no ink where I didn't want it to be. I did lots of prints because the first time is never the perfect one and I had to get it as perfect as possible. I had to do a solid print where it was just black and white, an extended print where I would just draw on a solid print and make it cool and different, a multicolored print where I had to use 2 or more different colors, and finally, a unique surface material where it's basically a solid but on a different color than isn't plane white.
