Colored Candy

Shaded Spheres

9" x 12"

Markers, colored pencil, watercolor on watercolor paper

Candy Still Life

11" x 14"

On printing paper with watercolor, colored pencil, marker and paint marker.

The main idea of both of these pieces of art was shading colors and different materials together. For the spheres I had to blend colors and use a shadow to make the drawing look 3D, like it's jumping off the paper. For the realistic candy drawing I had to also blend and shade different colors together.

For the first drawing I had to pick my colors and witch materials to pair with for the last spheres because I had to mix 2 different materials. Then for the candy still life drawing I had to pimy candy and how I wanted to place them. Then Had to draw them and make the picture as realistic as possible, making sure that the colors were the right shade and where the shadows were placed by the light.
