Paper

Chaos

Our task was to make a figure out of an A5 paper that represents our last months.

So I tore my paper down and shredded it with a fringe scissors. Because I really had no idea what I would like to do, I started wetting my bits of paper with water, then brushing them with a liquid glue and then gluing them together. I did not really choose anything, my artwork was not created with a vision. When sticking together, I noticed that the paper is actually holding together pretty well. So I played a bit with the room and tried not to create a structure. At the end of this artwork is then created that the word should represent chaos. I think that word presents my life pretty well, as I am a pretty planned person who often ends up in chaos. The last few months have been just the same for me, as I first had to adapt to the new school, had to learn things with the whole Computer Technique and find out how to get good grades in this school system. For this I had sports every day after school and when I came home it was always dark and then spent some time with my family, but had to do homework again. But back to my stature, I think I could heat up more of an object or something like that and not just stick everything together without a plan and say, that fits. For the next few weeks I have more thoughts about what and how I want to portray it.
