Beautiful Oops - Geese Over a Marsh
Watercolor
Interpret Meaning:
My work shows that an ink splatter can become part of an art piece. I chose to make this because the flow of dots and splatters felt very natural to me so I decided to turn it into a part of nature, in the form of a bird.
Describe Materials:
India ink splatter on watercolor paper with watercolor paints
Describe Process:
I observed the splatter and looked at the shapes to determine what I would draw, then added watercolors to make it into what I had envisioned. I started with just and ink splatter and formed it into a bird and landscape. In the future, to improve upon this paining, I could add more detail and properly proportion the background landscape.
