Perspective

Artist Statement: In this art project I was assigned to create a piece based off of an image of a hallway. I incorporated techniques used in other projects like 1 and 2 point linear perspective and interior perspective. These techniques were taught in class. Using a ruler and a Blick Studio 2H graphite pencil, I began by finding a focus point which would be the end of the hallway. Then drew lines leading towards the focus point to create depth in the hallway. When I liked how the hallway looked I then added more details, like the floor, things on the wall, lockers, and the door at the end of the hallway.
