Artist Statement: In this project I was assigned to create a realistic drawing of a piece of candy. The drawing should show shadows and dimension as if it was a real piece of candy. I used an image of a candy, Smarties, and lightly sketched it using a pencil. I then went back in with colored pencil and a regular pencil for shading and markers to make the image brighter.
