Our task was to find a world problem and do research on its causes and some possible solutions. We used articles and studies from credible websites and used their findings to create our own solution. We then ran an experiment on the effectiveness and downsides of the solution.
Our group chose pilling as our world problem and did research to find a solution to it. Pilling is the balls of fabric and threads that accumulate on clothing over time, ruining their appearance and making them uncomfortable.
After days of combing through research and studies, our group agreed on white vinegar as our solution and designed a mixture of vinegar, detergent, and laundry enzymes which would prevent pilling and not ruin the smell or appearance of the laundry.
