Training Plan...

The past 2 weeks I have been on a strict split. Monday, Legs, Tuesday, Chest and tris, Wednesday, back and bis, Thursday explosive lifts, Friday and Saturday, Field work. Field work consists of footwork, sprints, and explosive sprints.(I dont know the exact distances for everything but I usually do 5 sets of 20 yards for every type of sprint) For the weight lifting I usually do 4 exercises and 4 sets for 6-10 reps (each muscle group), depends on the weight (most days). Some days I do 4 sets of 15-20, but with much lighter weight. My strength id say is my best part about me. Along with that I have very good technique for the sports that I play. The weight lifting helps for football which is what I am doing it for. I do certain activities to push/pull the most weight I can in certain in football related positions. One of my big weaknesses is I am slow, so Ive been doing a lot of field work to help with that, strengthen my muscles I use while running. I can use my knowledge of what I know about myself to change splits if needed. I can add more field days if needed, to improve my speed. Along with that it depends on what time of the year it is. Now for example is time to get faster because football is right around the corner. But when football ends I train for only strength and dont have that many field days. I have been doing this split for awhile and my strength and speed has been improved a lot. All the weight on my lifts have increased and the times it takes me to run certain distances has improved a lot also. I have been happy about what I accomplished but I am not going to stop now.
