Frog Dissecting

About the project

For the Frog Dissection we followed a packet the teacher gave us, Cole and I worked on the packet for a week maybe more. We followed how the packet wanted us to do thing, like cut the frog open and look in its mouth. It was a precise job for the right people. We had to identifie parts of the heart and other things like the organs.

Key Concepts

All Organisms share a common set of organs and how they live, We share evolution with some different types of animals, Because of this we share essential life. We use the same genetic system to live and continue on the years.

Organisms interact with each other and with the environment, All organisms regulate themselves on all levels, they all react to the environment so they can survive and live on.

Species arise, change, and become extinct over time, Evolution creates great diversion and changes how animals live, it changes all animals and gives them niches within the ecosystem.

Genetic Maintain continuity plus allow for change, The inherited sequence of DNA underlies an organisms phenotype such as shapes and blood type. Heritable mutations allow evolution or genetic change over time.

How it was integrated into the project, All this was integrated into the project because we learned how similar frogs are to humans and how they use their legs and also arms. They are similar to how we use are body and how are organs work.

Reflection

Two things that I did well was cut open the frog and also work with my partner. Something that I learned was that I am good at cutting frogs.

Two things I thought I could improve on was slowing down a little on the writing cause it didn't look neat. Another thing that I could improve on is following the instructions a little better, like reading it more carefully.

I demonstrated communication by talking to my team and helping them solve questions. I used collaboration worked well with my team and helped them work on the frog.
