Comic Strip, Center of the Earth

Project details

Me and my group made a comic strip about traveling to the center of the earth and seeing all the levels of the earth and what´s in it. We started the project on a Monday and finished the poster on that Friday. I and my group studied the earth and how mountains, ravines, and major events the earth went through to get to the point where it is. We learned how the supercontinent Pangea was split apart to become the continents we know today.

In this comic strip, there are 3 characters that go down to the center of the earth and visit all the different layers like the crust, lithosphere, asthenosphere, outer core, and inner core. They traveled 3,963 miles down to the center. The characters traveled down and saw lots of different crystals and rocks that surrounded the earth's core. They also saw trains, bunkers, lava pools, and lava tubes.

Reflection

Me and the group I worked with worked very well and efficient, we didn't slack and got our work done well. We learned all about the earth´s layers and how everything worked before we were alive. Some things me and the group did very well were work with efficiency, we used all our time to our advantage and didn't waste it. Another thing we did very well was collaboration, we communicated well and stayed focused the whole time. Somethings we could have improved on was organization cause some of our papers were scattered in our binders and we had to look for them. Another thing we can improve on is coloring abilities, this could have been better but we are not the best at art and coloring, it could have been nicer but its all good.
