Nourish Project Website Update
We decided that we would make a service that delivered food to people from locally grow gardens. They are delivered weekly. It helps the buyer chose healthy foods.
What We Did
We made a local meal service called Eat Local. Eat Local is focused on providing people with healthy meals and also educate them on were their food comes from and also learn about the environment.
People that are subscribed to Eat Local get the meals at the start of each week. they will get a assortment of meals and they can stop the subscription at anytime they like. The food will be from local organic food markets and also food farmers. the meals will be different each weekend.
Are team made a website to educate you in what we do, We designed a informational brochure that works as a another form of spreading the work.
Thing We Have Learned
Teach- The best way to learn were the food comes from is to ask and look it up.
Grow food- The best way to lower carbon emission is to grow food locally and at home. This will not pollute the ocean and the air around us.
A community- The best way to get closer with the community is to grow farms and gardens because we get closer and can talk to new people. And it supports other and gets us outside.
Change the menu- Having local foods can benefit schools and also businesses because it will help people be healthy and its not junk food.
Reflection
Are group worked hard to create this idea and it took lots of effort to present and build up. Something I think That we did very well was have fun and work together. Something I think we could have improved on the project was stay a little more focused on it because sometimes we got off track for a while.
Something I learned about myself during this project was I can really put the work in If I try harder. Something I could have worked harder at was staying focused and work harder for long periods of time.
I used collaboration, communication, and also critical thinking. I used collaboration by working with my team and helping out. I used communication by discussing with my team and giving ideas. I used critical think to think outside the box and have ideas that were different and think deeper into the concepts.
