This center offers workshops, consultations, testing, and freebies to help promote sexual, relationship, mental, and nutritional health and wellness through building awareness and good habits.
You can schedule a confidential one-on-one consultation on a number of health and wellness topics including: alcohol, drugs, marijuana, tobacco education, nutrition, sexual health, mental health, and general wellness.
They have a wellness room located on the 3rd floor of the Student Center in the office of UCI Center for Student Wellness and Health Promotion (G319 ) . Just check in at their front desk to get access to a peaceful space with yoga mats, massage chairs, and self-guided activities (journals, books, art activities).
Some drop-in events are offered as well, such as guided meditations and wellness walks. Check their website at the link above for current offerings.

Outdoors
There are many beautiful places to hike or stroll nearby. See these two pages on local mountain parks and beaches.
Physical activity plays an important role in our overall wellness. As a student at UCI, you have access to the Anteater Recreation Center (aka "The ARC"). During the academic year, there is no additional cost. During the summer months there is a fee (about $35) if you are not enrolled in classes of your own.
Before your first visit, you'll need to have your hand registered for the hand scanner that grants access to the center. You can do this upstairs and just need your hand and your ID card.
You have access to an indoor track, sports courts, lap pool, weight rooms, and cardio equipment at no extra cost. The ARC also offers group fitness classes (for an additional cost) like yoga, spin, and F45. You can also register for dance or martial arts classes or outdoor excursions and rock climbing If you like team sports, you can register for intramural teams!

Graduate students spend a lot of time at a desk or lab and working on computers. Make sure your set up works for you, learn to prevent repetitive strain injuries like carpal tunnel.
