Week 10

Monitor roles:

• Watching over VCR/rewinding tapes - Mitchel

• Standing by poster and ensuring it is working as intended - Siyuan

• Walking around and monitoring key areas (e.g. rooms with tapes) and player actions - George

Tape locations:

• Talk to Bec about whether tapes should be in the same room or in different rooms

• What if someone snatches the VHS tapes?

  • George will watch over the room (or two rooms) and see if anyone picks up the tapes, then will follow them and see where they go with the tapes and then report back to Mitchel if they go elsewhere instead of the room with the VCR.

Sequence Order:

• Start from fake website with homepage and riddle page, then go and find VHS tapes, then go to VCR room and watch the tapes, then go to poster room and input answer.

• What if someone plays out of order?

  • Player should be encouraged by the poster handler to go and explore some more.

Poster Design:

• Poster needs to be reiterated to make selectable words more obvious

  • Perhaps change the colour of the words to a very slight variation

Packing up:

• What happens when we decide we want to do something else other than always being a handler for the ARG?

  • Put all the equipment into one room so that all the equipment is ready to pack up when needed, but anyone who is interested in the ARG can still play the ARG.

  • Swap between single handlers taking all responsibilities within a set period of time.
