Description: Jeff Dyer takes apart the inner strategies of innovators, breaking them into categories of QUESTIONING, OBSERVING, NETWORKING and EXPERIMENTING. With some fantastic examples of innovators of note, Dyer looks at how these skills are implemented.
Task: Take the "Discovery and Delivery Skills Quiz" on page 38 - it's at the end of the reading. Check your score and then note in your learning journal 3 things you could implement to increase your score. There's no 'right' score or answer here, and as Dyer says, try to answer based on your actual behaviours.

What was done in class today?
In class, for our discussion activity, my group (with me, Kai G, Melissa D and Gray L) discussed the strengths that we had that were related to our disciplines. Kai said that her strength was creative writing (thinking up of and creating narratives); Gray said that her strengths were communication, keeping people engaged and research; Melissa said her strengths were project delivery and stakeholder engagement; and my strength, just like Kai, is creative writing, and I have a history of creating stories.
