Some challenges that can be encountered in the production of goods can include:
Production issues, such as choosing the right supplier and the right amount of supply to purchase, managing your inventory with an adequate supply of raw materials and finished products without straining cash reserves, planning the production of the finished products to be available at the right times, and outsourcing to complete tasks that aren't core to the business;

Questionaire: Employability in the Creative Industries
Question 1
Name 3 characteristics of a successful graduate in your discipline or major.
Answer 1
Always improving—they are open to criticism and take the genuine criticism they receive seriously, whether it's positive or constructive.
Passionate—they enjoy what they are doing and want to put their all into their project to make it the best that it possibly can be.
Problem-solving—they are able to get to the bottom of a problem if they run into one and figure out a solution to solve the problem.
Question 2
What differences are there (if any) between you and the above characteristics?
Answer 2
The only real difference there is between me and these characteristics is the problem-solving part. I have a bit of an issue with solving problems in scripting, which is the part of my discipline that requires the most problem-solving, as I don't understand enough of scripting to be able to employ effective troubleshooting methods. I do, however, know to search online for a solution if I run into a problem.
Question 3
How would you describe the role of a professional in your discipline or major?
Answer 3
The role of game development in a professional context can be described with two major points: game developing and game designing. Game developing is scripting the game, making the mechanics work, basically making the game a functional game; game designing is the design aspect of a game, with things like artstyle, graphics, colour palette and tone, character development, etc.
Question 4
What will your personal role be? - where is your current focus?
Answer 4
XXXX
Question 5
How did the learning in this unit contribute to your development?
Answer 5
This unit taught me about the business side of things and what it's like to push ideas out there and start a business using this idea. This knowledge will help me if I ever wanted to start up my own professional game studio in the future, to give one possible outcome.
Question 6
In a sentence, describe what you hope to achieve in your career (or even just this course!).
Answer 6
In my career, I hope to become an experienced game developer who has worked in the industry and has a pretty good portfolio to show it. The main goal I want is to be able to make my own games, but I know that getting experience from working in the industry is a major part of learning how to make games.
In this course, I hope to really kick goals that I can look back on and be proud of, and I also hope to learn a lot of the fundamentals of video game development from this course, that experience of which I can then take with me into the industry.
Question 7
Imagine yourself in 15 years’ time. What do you expect to be doing at that time?
Answer 7
In 15 years time, I expect to be working at a professional video game studio that accumulated a good amount of experienced and has dabbled in his own game development operations, possibly even as a business, but most likely as a hobby with some friends.
Activity: How good are your emotional regulation strategies?
Activity: Write a Pitch
