2 point-perspective

First, in order to enable my horizon line I selected the wrench tool and turned on drawing guide this will then allow me to edit my drawing guide and select my vanishing point. In this case I positioned my vanishing point above the paper to get a top down view this is because most objects I will be designing are eye level or lower.

While drawing the first few shapes I realized that I struggled a little trying to make curve edges look right.

Afterward, I held down on my blue pencil sketch layer which allows me to select drawing assist this will held guide my lines toward my vanishing points making it easier for me to draw my crates.

For each shape I started by using a smaller fine line/Technical pen to sketch out the shape. I find this shape really challenging due to the curves however I later discovered that I could mark the middle of the semi circle/curve and with the drawing assist draw a guideline to the other side of the shape facing away helping me with making the curve part of the shape look smaller the further it goes.

Next, I use a thicker fine line pen around the outside and were the part wraps behind other to give it some 3 dimensional looks.

Now for the rendering, I imagined my light source hovering above my shapes and slightly to the left. Afterward, I selected wood as my texture and used the soft clean air brush in order to make shadows which is located to the right since my light source is to the left. following the reference photo, I also tried experimenting with white stripes going down the object to make it look shinier.

To make the textures align with the shape I used the select tool to position the image roughly above the shape. Afterward, I used the distort tool in order adjust the four corners into the shape of the object

Now, I used the masking tool along with the invert button to mask the area needed to be cover in wood and removed any excess wood. I then repeated the process many more times in order to match the texture with the face of the shapes.

Next, to render the shelf I use the soft clean air once again along with the masking tool in order to prevent the shading from getting on the background and stay in the shape. On this shape I focused on creating shadows under each shelf to show that it's hidden under the top shelfs I also used highlights to create shiny reflections on the surface where the light touches.
