The protest began in July, 2020 ; initially started on university campus. The core motivation of the protest are:
The dissolution of the Future Forward Party (พรรคอนาคตใหม่),
The military influence in politics,
2017 constitution drafted by คสช.

Participation & Size
Approximately 2,500 protesters during 18th, July
The protest spread to 20+ provinces in Thailand during the 19th, July
The Three Demands
Dissolution of the House of Representatives,
The stop of legal threat to citizens for expressing political opinions,
Draft a new constitution with broader public participation.
Government Resposes
The use of Emergency Power (as already deployed by COVID-19 situation), put in use to restrict gatherings and protests.
Protestors and organisers were later charged with sedition, and Computer Crime Act violations for participating, or encouraging protests.
Some activists got followed-up enforcement by a visit from police at their homes, schools, or workplaces.
