• Break class into groups of 3-4

Directions to Students

• Rosie designed a flying machine that crashed rather quickly. You and your team need to design a safety mechanism to get her to the group safely.
• You may only use 5 supplies. (It is your call on tape. It can be a bonus supply that doesn’t count against their total supplies)
• Tools such as scissors, crayons, markers DO NOT COUNT. They are tools not a building supply.
• Your creation needs to allow her to land safely from a height of 5 feet.
• You may test it as you feel prepared.
