As an Instructional Coach with a Makerspace background I go about my job a little differently than most "Tech Coaches." When I work with teachers I often use more than just technology to help engage learners in their classroom.
One of the challenges that I face is that I travel between 7 different buildings (K-12) across the district. Each building with it own needs and supplies. I felt that I needed to have my own stash of supplies that I could pull from in order to help teachers.
This year I received a grant through the Boyertown Education Foundation in order to stock this ever growing "Innovation On The Go" Tool Kit. Below is a list of supplies that I have and how I use them throughout the district. I'll make sure to add to this list as I find more and more supplies to help learners.
Great team building activity for ANY age group. Lots of activities included in the directions and even more when you get a chance to try it out.
I use them for an activity called The Poly Spot Challenge. Students need to get through a maze of dots. LOADS of team building/lessons in this activity.
SO MUCH FUN!! Students need to work as a class to get the correct ball into the correct hole. TONS of learning and excitement in this activity.
