• Read story
• Talk about a time you made an Oops “work” for your needs

Directions to Students

• Hold the folded paper like a book
• Flip the book over and write your name on the “back” of the book
• Flip the book back over and on the count of 3 draw a line or simple shape (not too large)
• When you draw say “Oooooops”
• Now pass your paper to someone else in the room/group
• On the count of 3 draw a line or simple shape
• When you draw say “Oooooops”
• Pass the paper to a 3rd person
• Person number 3 has 3 minutes to create an illustration the 2 lines/shapes that are already there and as many other colors and lines as they need.
• Return the book to the name on the back of the paper and explain what you drew using those lines
• Original person now writes a story using the artwork as the cover of their book.
• Author then gets to add the next illustration to the book. Trying to use a similar theme as what was already used.
• SHARE STORIES
