This was an amazing temple we visited on our first day in Thailand. Out of respect for the culture, we had to have our shoulders and knees covered. The temple was absolutely beautiful and it was really nice to walk around and see everything. At one point, some school kids even came up to us and asked if they could interview us about our experience in Thailand so far. In the photo above, you see me kneeling out of respect for the Buddha in the temple.
This was another amazing temple we visited, however because of its location on a mountain, it took us a bit of a long drive and hike to reach the top. The hike was definitely worth it, and the temple was very beautiful. The view from that high up was also amazing and we were able to see the city of Chiang Mai from a different perspective.
One of the places we went to was called Elephant PooPoo Paper Park. There, we were able to see how the park uses elephant and other animal manure to make paper. Not only did we learn about how the process itself and how it works, but we were also able to participate and make our own paper.
This was another temple we visited at the end of out trip while we were in Bangkok. To get to this temple, we took a boat across a canal and it was a very fun experience. When we got to the other side of the canal, we walked over to the temple. Many people weren't feeling well and the weather was really hot, so not everyone climbed up the steps of the temple. The temple itself was very pretty and had a very cool design.
