How do you respond?
Would you "like" the post anyway?
Would you ignore it?
Would you make fun of him?
Why did you choose your answer?
If you chose to ignore it, but your friend specifically asks your opinion how honest would you be?
Thorny Situation, a situation where there is no clear-cut way to respond, and where there is potential for someone's feelings to be hurt.
This situation was thorny because Vicky's actions had the potential to hurt Jacob's feelings (which is what ended up happening). Even though Vicky may not have intended to hurt Jacob when she shared his note with a friend, she (and others) did end up causing him a lot of embarrassment and pain, enough that he transferred schools.

"Bystander Revolution":
Another teammate made his profile picture a picture of the goalie stopping a goal.
Lots of other people joined in and made their profile picture the same.
The goalie felt better about his role in the team's failures.
"It's Not Cyberbullying, But..."
Addressing it face-to-face with the person who is being inconsiderate or mean could help.
It's best to avoid Twitter or social media flame wars, as that usually only makes the problem worse.
"Rethink Before You Type"
When adolescents were prompted to think twice about their mean or insensitive posts, over 90% of them reconsidered and posted differently.
